MARE is authorized to prepare risk assessment and emergency response plans for offshore facilities within the scope of Law no 5312. “Risk Assessment of the Marine Environment of Oil and Other Harmful Substances Pollutions and who prepared of their emergency response plans relevant minimum specifications statement of the institutions and organizations”.
The risk assessment and the emergency response plan are designed to provide the necessary intervention equipment, logistics, communication and public relations, including an organizational structure based on an on-going command system, prepared with the aim of “realizing an intervention in an effective and rapid manner” in the event of an actual oil or chemical spill cases.
As MARE, we particularly emphasize to our contracted shore facilities, the main guidance points for these dangerous and difficult intervention operations with useful emergency response plans that we have prepared using our experience and know-how from the field.
